Lavender Gourmet Seasoning

One of our most popular products, this superior dry marinade is loaded with a healthy blend of lavender, red alae sea salt, macadamia nuts, and carefully selected herbs and spices to create a culinary necessity for every cook.
Lightly sprinkle and rub this fantastic lavender seasoning over poultry, fish, lamb, beef, Tofu, 'Kalua Pig' (a Hawaiian favorite), and vegetables. It enhances sauces, soups, stews, and salads.
Our 5oz lavender seasoning comes in a resealable, moisture-resistant pouch for long-lasting freshness.
Many years ago, we had a change in vendors for the making of this product. As our business model operates in partnership with value-added products, made in conjunction with local vendors, we no longer had the full rights to the old ingredients list and label. Unfortunately, we no longer will have access to the old recipe. This current version of the recipe is what we have been working with, as closely mimicking the old recipe as possible, with a few small changes:

TheHawaiian Saltfrom the previous recipe had been a much larger grain, wherein this new recipe there is a finer grind. Folks often find this more conducive for the making of dips and spreads. While it is true thatthere are some omitted ingredients by way of fennel and dill, these ingredients can be easily added back in if desired. Lastly, the roasted Macadamia nut has replaced the Kukui nut, as kukui nut is much more difficult to find in bulk.
While it is true the old seasoning had a die-hard following, we are finding customers who had not previously tried the old version have an equally dedicated love to this current recipe! We hope that you will find a place for this spice blend on your shelf to enjoy on a daily basis.
Ingredients: Red Alae Salt, Minced Onions, Turbinado Sugar, Garlic, Onion Powder, Macadamia Nut Inamona, Brown Sugar, Lavender, Black Pepper, Basil, Thyme, Rosemary.

Love this seasoning. Add to steaks and add to fresh herbs on chicken. Sent some to my sister-in-law. She likes it too!

Great product. I put this seasoning on everything. I wish I would have bought more when I was at their Lavender Farm in Hawaii and save on shipping.

This blend is so versatile, it's become a staple in my house. And now family members expect their own pouches as gifts! Veggies, grilled potatoes, fish... I've used it on nearly everything and it's always a welcome addition. Highly recommend.

While In Maui I got my year's supply of this seasoning. It is incredible. I use it on and in so many dishes. One of my favorites is to coat all four sides of a pork loin, wrap it in saran wrap and let it marinate overnight. Then cook as usual. It adds so much flavor and no need to add salt or any other seasoning or spice.

    Much Too Salty

As a chef , I should of steered away from something with salt as the first ingredient. However the blend sounded delightful . But it is much to salty to really be considered a seasoning. Excellent Idea though , if the maker would replace the salt as a minimal ingredient. : (
